PixlBank’s award-winning augmented reality [ar] Living Portraits™ are designed to provide more immersive and engaging experiences for your audience.
We can work with your existing designers or our in-house design team can create custom designs that use fictional characters or real people and bring them to life using augmented reality.
Our Living Portraits™ can also be incorporated into larger interpretive signage with additional interactive [ar] elements that can be used to educate, motivate, inspire, and activate your audience.
People simply scan a custom QR code with their smartphone to open a branded augmented reality experience – no need to download an app. They can then point their device at the sign to bring it images to life.
Multilingual Messaging
Our Living Portraits™ can speak in up to 150 different languages. We translate your script(s) and generate voices in the languages you request.
When someone scans the QR code on a multilingual Living Portrait, it will open a menu of the available languages. They can select their preferred language and the character(s) and content will come to life in their selected language.
Signs as a Service (SaaS)
One of the unique features of our Living Portraits™, similar to our Paper-View Post™ program, is that you can update the interactive [ar] content without having to print and install new signs. This makes our signs both eco and budget-friendly!

We have proudly partnered with iZone Imaging – the only company that provides a product that we feel good about putting our name on. Not only are their products (and production) eco-minded, but their signs come with a 10-year outdoor warranty that covers any fading or de-lamination.
Our Living Portraits™ and interpretive signs are produced using multiple layers of FSC® kraft paper that are pressed and fused together with heat and pressure and then cooled to become a single, solidified panel of thermoset material.
